The gospel and a swim
From ScottW: I went to the YMCA around lunch on Thursday of this week for a swim. As I was in the hot tub, I met a 62 year old man named Richard. After we chatted for about 5 minutes about his life I asked him if I could ask him an interesting question. He said sure and I asked him what he thought about the afterlife? He said he believed the Bible and that there was an afterlife. But, when I...
an open door at work
From EddieZ: After a lot of prayer, the Lord allowed me to share some biblical truths @ work today with one of my bosses. He is going thru a divorce, and is very anti preaching/bible talk. He called one of the workers “Nimrod”…. (Insert open door sound here) I asked “Do you know where that name comes from?” He said,”No” I explained the way men try and...
No coincidences
From EddieZ: So today was Sarah’s birthday and pizza was the dinner of choice. Cicis Pizza to be exact. When we arrived we parked and saw a young couple sitting on the curb. They apparently had some time on their hands so Sarah went up and gave them a million. They were nice and did not stone her, instead they said thanks and we headed inside.
@ the counter they had a fund raiser for a...

At the Hospital
From RufusH: I went to Mercy Medical Center to be with Rick And Christy Scheck on Tuesday. Rick was having surgery that day. I waited with Rick and Chisty in the pre-op section of the hospital. We were having a great time of fellowship around the Word. Rick told me about their recent vacation. He said he passed out about 40 tracts! Wow! One led to a conversation with a lady at the hotel desk.

Scott and Elliott at the park
From ScottW: Here is a gospel story from Labor Day at Tuscora Park. Elliott and myself went to the park about 10 minutes before noon to play some mini-golf. It did not open until noon so we saw a young man sitting on a bench alone listening to an mp3 player with headphones. We sat beside him and I started talking with him. I gave him a million dollar bill and asked him if he ever thought...
Luke - on the bus
From LukeK: So, after the last bell rang to say school was over, I headed to the bus. When I got there, my usual seat was taken, so I was directed to a seat beside a 7th grader. After sitting for a couple minutes, I prayed and asked God for some courage to talk to him. I started by asking, “Hey, what’s your name?” He responded, “What’s YOUR name?” I told...
Fair Stories - Pastor Hofelt
From RufusH: Last night was nothing short of incredible. I went out to the Fair and paired up with Alan Vaughn. It was powerful from the start. But I want to focus on a huge lesson I learned.
I was standing in the parking lot where several of us met. I saw a number of teens across the road so I went across the street to talk with them. I said, “Hey guys I know the economy is bad so...
Fair Stories - Matt
From MattB: WOW! That’s the best description I can come up with for how God worked yesterday! In fact, His work began way before we ever set off for the fairgrounds! It was obvious that the devil was hard at work trying to prevent us from going for the God, but as the Lord Jesus said…”And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive “(Matt 21:22). You might want to...
Fair Stories - Doug and Rick
From DougK: What an incredible night. Rick Bevington and I got to go to the lost with the Law and the Gospel. As soon as we started out, we were able to get into a couple of conversations with some groups of kids before even getting to the fair. One kid on a bike was very engaged, said he would consider these things and we said we would pray. A couple of young guys before the fair were not...
Fair Stories - Brian and Brooke
From BrianA: I had several great conversations tonight sharing the gospel. We split up into 2’s, so it was Brooke and I. My first conversation with 2 young men named David and Justin (16 and 17yrs old) went very well. They were very surprised that their good works weren’t going to be worth much on Judgment Day. After taking them through the Law and the courtroom scene, they knew they...

What do I say?
Some of us are not sure what to say to strangers when we give them a tract…try this…
What do you think happens to you when you die?
We all know that 10 out of 10 people die.
The Bible says that after death is Judgment before God who is holy and perfect. Will you be innocent or guilty? Remember that God’s standard for “good” is the Ten Commandments.
Have you ever...
driving range witnessing
ScottW: I took my son Cameron to the driving range tonight for some practice since he made the Jr. High golf team. A 25 year old man (Stephen) started to practice some chipping right near us. I struck up a conversation with him about golf and various things. I find out he works for Warther’s museum in Dover because he married Mark Warther’s daughter. (This is cool…I had...
Golf and the Gospel
ScottW: I played in golf league Tuesday night, and afterwards I handed my opponents (2 guys in their late 20’s) million dollar bills. I asked if they had ever seen one before. They both said yes. I have not found the golf course to be the easiest of places for witnessing, but every now and again I’ve been able to hand out some tracts. Praise God we get to!
Lunch and the Gospel
DougK: So I met my pastor for lunch and we had some good food and great fellowship around the Bible and what God is doing. After we were done eating our waitress (Nikki) asked if we needed anything else. We said no and then Pastor asked Nikki if she would do him a favor. She said sure. He said 22 years ago someone shared something with him that changed his life. He then gave her a Good Test...

Gospel Stories
We are looking for your gospel stories. We are not looking for professionals - just average, ordinary, common people hitting the streets and opening their mouths for the glory of God.
