driving range witnessing
ScottW: I took my son Cameron to the driving range tonight for some practice since he made the Jr. High golf team. A 25 year old man (Stephen) started to practice some chipping right near us. I struck up a conversation with him about golf and various things. I find out he works for Warther’s museum in Dover because he married Mark Warther’s daughter. (This is cool…I had given Mark Warther a million dollar bill last year when my family went through the museum and he was our tour guide). I thought, now it’s Stephen’s turn. After we were finished I walked back to my car to get my wallet with the tracts in it (stupid me didn’t have any on me at the range). I pulled out an Atheist Test and walked over to him and said, “I have something interesting to give you.” I explained the tract and asked if he had a Christian background. He said yes. I said, “you’ll love this then, it’s very logical and full of truth.” I also gave him a couple million dollar bills right before leaving explaining briefly how they walk you through the 10 commandments to show us that we have all violated God’s standard and are in BIG trouble on judgment day without the Saviour! He thanked me, and my son and I went home rejoicing in the fact that we had the opportunity to share the greatest news EVER!
